Our Roots
A Family Dream, Roasted in Tradition
Bakri Coffee began as a family venture more than 30 years ago, roasting coffee and nuts in a small corner shop. What started as a passion for bold flavors grew into Caffina Coffee Co., a wholesale roastery supplying restaurants, hotels, and businesses across Michigan. From the very beginning, our mission was simple: share the joy of fresh, quality coffee with our community.

From Roaster to Community Favorite
Taking Our Passion Beyond the Roastery
By 2019, we brought our beans directly to coffee lovers everywhere with online sales of fresh roasts and K-cups. In 2021, we expanded into catering, followed by the launch of our mobile coffee trucks in 2022 — bringing Bakri Coffee to festivals, markets, and neighborhoods across Michigan. Each step was fueled by a growing love for our coffee and a belief that Bakri Coffee should be experienced wherever people gather.

The Cafés
Brewing Spaces That Feel Like Home
In 2023, we began building cafés where people could experience Bakri Coffee in person. By 2025, two locations opened their doors, with a third underway for 2026. Every shop is crafted with the same care we bring to our roasts — offering handcrafted drinks, seasonal flavors, and welcoming spaces where coffee lovers can slow down, connect, and feel at home.
